![]() The guide also features a fully detailed bestiary for those who just want information about specific monsters unaccompanied by a walkthrough. Monster strategies will be discussed in detail as you encounter them throughout the walkthrough, featuring elemental and status information and drop lists. For example, after completing most main quests you won’t be able to attempt that quest again, but you’ll usually unlock an identical side quest allowing you to hunt the same monster in the same area with the same success/failure conditions. These are typically quests that have you facing a monster you’ve already fought under similar circumstances that offer no unique reward for completion. Main quests are interspersed with side quests in the order in which they unlock, although some side quests and arena challenges may only be referenced instead of fully explained. This guide features a full, beginning-to-end walkthrough written in an “ideal chronological order of events” format. One of the least-rewarding, grindiest trophies/achievements in the game, honestly. Complete any fifty arena challenges - earning any completion rank in the process, and repeating any of them as many times as you wish - to obtain this trophy/achievement. You do not get to bring your preferred armor, weapons or items to the fight, so be prepared for the fight to be on more or less even terms, no matter how trivial the monster would otherwise be. All the quests under the “Arena” category fulfill the requirements of this trophy, and they are essentially time-attack challenges wherein you’ll be given a choice of one of five loadouts you can use to defeat the target monster as quickly as possible. Instead, travel to the Gathering Hub in Astera, and talk to the Arena Lass (the clerk on the left) where you’ll be able to pick from two options - Arena and Challenges. You may have been thinking that this trophy/achievement may have been referring to the “Special Arena” optional quests… but sadly, that is not the case.
